⁹ And [although] having been grieved, the king ordered that it be given, because of the oaths and the ones reclining-back-with him [to eat]. ¹⁰ And having sent, he beheaded John in the prison. ¹¹ And his head was brought on a platter and given to the girl, and she brought it to her mother.
